The Dark in the Box
The story of how Andy learns to use his observing skill and his imagination to overcome fears is told by writer Rick Sampedro and illustrator Manuela Scarfò. That is not everything the book offers: this short story of courage and readiness is enriched by several useful teaching exercises aimed at learning English, songs (contained in the CD) and manual workshops.

Manuela Scarfò
Born 1987 in Siderno (RC), she attended the Artistic High School of the city and subsequently the Academy of Fine Arts in Reggio Calabria, where she achieved the academic degree in visual arts and disciplines of the performing arts in 2012. The following year she achieved the Master title in illustration for publishing Ars in Fabula, with the thesis work "The Dark in the Box" edited by Helbling Languages.
